The Suit Me Up FIT Therapy (Functional Intensive Suit Therapy) Program. This program is intended to provide intensive and consistent therapy sessions utilizing the Pedia Suit and Ability Exercise Unit (Cage) Equipment.

Intensive Suit Therapy is an intensive program with a holistic approach to the treatment of individuals with neurological disorders, developmental delays, brain injuries, autism, and other conditions which affect a child’s motor and/or cognitive functions.

It consists of a specialized orthotic suit, which utilizes bungee type cords that brings the body into proper alignment and improves muscle strength, coordination, and tone. The suit assists in retraining the brain to recognize new, corrected body movements. This is combined with various other techniques and methods, and customized to fit the needs of each child, with specific functional goals.

Benefits include, but not limited to:
Creates new pathways to/from the brain for new or improved motor skills
Provides resistant to strong muscles to enhance muscle strength
Dynamic correction of movement to help reinforce proper movement patterns in activity
Improve alignment
Increase body awareness through proprioceptive and tactile input
Improve motor skills, both fine and gross
Improve bone density
Decreases uncontrolled movement and contractures
