Our Pediatric OTs work with children and families to improve the function and independence in performing their daily activities. They also support children in understanding their environment and support the means to develop
interests and participate in play and learning. Modifications and strategies are also a key part of the OTs repertoire when the child has difficulties due to a movement difficulty or physical restrictions.
Our OTs provide services in natural learning environments including home, schools, and other community settings. We provide services to a wide range of ages, from infants to adults.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Our Pediatric Occupational Therapists (OTs) help children build the skills required for essential daily activities such as participating in meaningful play with their parents and other children, eating on their own, and putting on their own clothes. They also support in developing their gross motor skills, fine motor skills, cognitive skills, social skills, and establishing routines that will be helpful for preschool readiness, establishing peer relationships, and academic success.
