Play is incorporated into the functional activities to make therapy enjoyable for the child. Partnership with the family is integrated in the care to promote development through practice at home and support the family in easing the challenges with the daily caregiving of our children.
We also collaborate with other professionals to provide a more holistic care.
Our pediatric PTs use evidenced-informed practice, which includes research findings, clinical expertise, and family priorities with the delivery of physical therapy
services and the development of goal-directed treatment plan.
Our PTs provide services in natural learning environments including home, schools, and other community settings. We provide services to a wide range of ages, from infants to adults.
PHYSICAL THERAPY
Our pediatric physical therapists (PTs) are specifically trained to work closely with the children and their families in reaching the children’s maximum potential to perform daily function, to improve their lives, and to actively participate at home, in school, and in the community. Our pediatric PTs promote independence, increase participation, and facilitate motor development and function. We use play, family involvement, and one-on-one care to nurture our children.
